As a Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Pratapgarh District- Pratapgarh, I extend hearty welcome to our Vidyalaya Website.Jawahar Navodaya Pratapgarh has been a proved beacon in providing good citizen to the society and above all good human beings with the help of a dedicated team of teaching and Non-teaching staff members who uses the supreme art to awaken joy among young learners in creative expression and knowledge. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Pratapgarh works on student centric approach which offers rewarding educational experiences to all who choose to focus on excellence. It addresses the contemporary needs of the learners by successfully creating a dynamic environment to trigger learning experiences and awakening the natural curiosity of the young minds and thereby facilitating the art of teaching. It aims at the commitments to nurture and equip young learners with the uncommon ability to become confident, sensitive, socially committed and to develop as an all round individuals.

Special feature of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Pratapgarh viz the only school of Uttar Pradesh running Online Spoken Tutorial project for +1 and +2 classes being run by IIT Bombay and joining hands with the initiative of the “Talk to a Teacher” activity of the National Mission on Education through ICT(NMEICT) launched by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Govt. of India to promote IT literacy through Open Source Software which open the scope of self paced effective learning among heterogeneous group of learners. Another feature of this Vidyalaya is its attachment with Tony Blair Institute for Global Change of UK which provides ample scope for the students to interact online with top educationist and students of the world on selected topics and gets their learning converted into professionalism. We are also working on an innovative approach of Mind Mapping duly recognized by NCERT through which students become more Creative, Critical and Collaborative.
