Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are prime residential co-educational institutions imparting quality modern education to the talented children predominantly from rural areas. They are initiated pursuant to the new Education Policy 1986. There are over 640 JNVs throughout the country. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Mahe is established in the year 1987and is located in a lush green campus at Pandakkal, 8km from Mahe.

Our goal is to develop the students as an individual who has acquired the content, knowledge, application and understanding abilities through the classroom learning and develop into a physically strong, economically productive and socially useful human being with qualities of discipline, determination, devotion, confidence, commitment, courage, competency and compassion.
