About JNV Latur
JNV established during the year 1986. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Latur is situated near to Manjra Sugar Factory, Vilasnagar, Latur. Its in Marathwada Regional of Maharashtra. JNV is situated 12 KM away from District Place. The JNV is situated near State Highway MH SH 145 Latur Barshi Highway. Railway Broadgage line also passes near to JNV i.e. Latur Mumbai line. The major airport near to Latur is Aurangbad i.e. around 300 KMs from JNV. Latur is known for its Education patten all over India. The popular places near Latur are Ganjgolai, Siuddheshwar Temple, Ausa Fort, Renuka Devi at Renapuri Kharosa Caves, etc.
The major crop of the districts are Jwar, Soyabin, Tuar etc. The area for the JNV is 30 acres. The name of Latur is known all over India for two things, first is due to the earthquate occured during the year 1993 and second during the year 2016-17 due to the scarcity of water, Govt. has proivded water especially to Latur through train i.e. by Jalpari Express.
