The 01st Jul, 1987 was the most auspicious day when the foundation stone of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Narla, Dist.Kalahandi(Odisha) was laid down by the then Hon Shri Janki Ballav Pattnaik, Chief Minister of the Odisha State. The school campus covers around 30 acres of forested land with its buildings connected by paddy agriculture fields just after main gate.
