Education doesn’t stand only for what is gained just from the books, but also the values it imparts in the people seeking for it. Leadership, discipline, integrity, empathy and patriotism are some of the indispensable values expected in students. To impart the same in our students N.C.C. in J.N.V Kanker started in the year 2010 with 50 JDS. Under the able guidance of the then principal Mr. K.V Nagraj Kumar, caretaker Mr. Rajeev Jha and ANO Mr. Dharampal Meena, our cadets attained excellence in many fields. The cadets attended combined annual training camps, firing camps and several other camps organized by N.C.C. every year. Currently the N.C.C. wing is being managed by ANO Mr. Kamal Singh (PGT Economics).

The cadets are doing remarkable service to the society with their volunteering activities like repairing of panchayat road, plantation, health services to the near by  village etc. Through N.C.C. we expect the cadets to march ahead with unshakable determination, courage and discipline to set an example to the fellow students.

Aims of NCC

The Aims of the NCC is to develop discipline, character, brotherhood, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Not only these, it also aims to enlighten leadership qualities among the youth who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose. It also motivates the young to choose a career in armed forces.

NCC Motto

The Motto of NCC is “Unity and Discipline”

NCC Flag

In 1954 the existing tricolor flag was introduced. The three colours in the flag depict the three services in the Corps, red for Army, deep blue for Navy and light blue for the Air Force. The letters NCC and the NCC crest in gold in the middle of the flag encircled by a wreath of lotus, give the flag a colourful look and a distinct identity. Each lotus represents one NCC Directorate.

NCC Pledge

“We the cadets of the national cadet corps, do solemnly pledge that we shall always uphold the unity of India. We resolve to be disciplined and responsible citizens of our nation. We shall undertake positive community service in the spirit of selflessness and concern for our fellow beings”.
