About JNV Jamnagar
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, is a fully residential, co-educational school affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi and has classes from VI to XII standard. This Vidyalaya is run by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, New Delhi, an autonomous organization under the Department of Education and Literacy, Ministry of H.R.D., Government of India
JNV Jamnagar was started in March 1988 and Inaugurated by Shri. Haribhai Patel, IAS.
I opened with 450 students (312 Boys, 177 Girls). The school offers education from class VI to XII and it only offers science stream.
Location:
The Vidyalaya is located along the northwestern coast of India which is nearer to Arabian Sea. The Vidhyalaya is situated very near to world famous Reliance Group of Industries , Jamnagar.
The vidyalaya is located in Jamnagar taluka of Jamnagar District Village Aliabada Gram Panchayat locality and at a distance of 8 km from Jambuda Patiya. Which is situated on NH 8, Aliabada is connected both by rail and road from Jamnagar at a distance of 21 km.
The village Aliabada is having B.Ed. and P.T.C. college run by Gangajala Vidyapeeth which is the oldest college in Jamnagar District.
