Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sherghati, Dist: Gaya was established in 02.09.2010 in accordance with NPE, 1986. It is situated at Sherghati with beautiful landscapes in Gaya District, Bihar State. The Vidyalaya is at a distance of about 40 Kms from Gaya Railway Station.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya,Sherghati is fully residential, co-educational schools affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi having classes up to Xth standard. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous Organization under the ministry of HRD, Government of India. Admission to these Vidyalayas is through a test called JNVST to Class VI. Children are predominantly from rural areas and there is 30% reservation of girls.
