Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bhagalpur is situated at the bank of river Ganga in district Bhagalpur of Bihar State in a small village named Nagarpara. It is situated at a distance of 45 kms. west from the district headquarters Bhagalpur. it is around 225 kms. away from the state capital, Patna, situated northern Gangetic plain of Bihar. The natural surroundings are full of bush green forests having a pleasant climate. School campus itself is full of green trees, shrubs and flowers. One Teacher Training College is functional very adjacent to the Vidyalaya. The atmosphere is quite serene and conducive to the teaching and learning process. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Birauli took shape in the year 1984.
