Physical Education is an integral part of total education process. It aims at building physically, socially, mentally and emotionally fit citizens through the medium of physical activities.
The school starts the day’s Physical activities right from the morning PT and ends with the evening games. Students are playing various games every day. The main attractions are the Yoga and Karate classes for the students, taking place regularly.
The school has made lot of achievements in the field of sports and games. We were participate in the cluster and regional meet with high spirit of sportsmanship and produces National and SGFI Players in various events for the past three years. We used to conduct the Annual sports day and Inter house competitions in a befitting and systematic way every year.
The Sports and games activities are progressing a lot day by day and we are striding forward with great momentum, with the aim of producing good results in the coming years in the field of Physical Education.
NVS National Archery Meet -2019-20 Participants Exhibiting their Skills.
On 14th Aug 2019 , the curtain was drawn with the Prize Distribution and Valedictory Function. Shri D H Basavaraj Chief Electrical Inspector (Retd) Govt. of Karnataka was the Chief Guest accompanied by Shri J. Munegowda, President, Bagalur Gram Panchayath, Smt Uma Swamy, Seniormost Teacher of Govt Jr College, Bagalur whereas Shri Raghavan Kavalan, Asst Comm., NVS RO, Hyderabad Region presided over the function. In the Indian Round, NVS Shillong earned the I Position whereas NVS Hyd secured at II Position. And in the Modern Recurve Round, the I Place was bagged by NVS Lucknow whereas II Place was won by NVS Bhopal. Altogether, Overall Championship in both Indian & Modern Rounds (combined) was bagged by Lucknow Region, II Place by NVS Bhopal & III Place by NVS Hyd.
