Co-curricular activities (CCA) ensure the harmonious development of personality in children. CCA is an extension of formal learning experiences and plays an important role in complementing academic activities. They develop interest and help in improving language skills, communication skills, historical skills and artistic skills of the child. CCA knowledge also helps in improving competitive spirit, value orientation, leadership teamwork and analytical emphasis for various other aspects of life. To develop all the above qualities Quiz, Recitation, Extraordinary Speech, Speech, Debate, Mono Act, Fancy Dress, Competitions are organized in JNVs as per a well planned CCA calendar throughout the academic year. Co-curricular activities are often organized through inter-house competitions at senior and junior level with a view to enable the students to acquire competence and confidence. The co-curricular activities cover all the areas that ensure holistic personality development and each JNV is providing ample opportunities to the students to develop their innate talents and abilities through CCA. Apart from this, various clubs like Eco, Literary, Science, Mathematics, Cultural, Arts, Music, Readers, Health & Wellness and Hindi Club in the Vidyalaya also organize many programs to enrich the students in their particular field. In addition, Navodaya Parivar under one roof promotes the policy of National Integration, celebrates regional, religious and national festivals for the unique principle and spirit of unity.
