Welcome to the official website of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Bagalkot. The school is one among the Co-educational Residential schools run by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous body under the MHRD Govt. of India to provide free quality modern education to the talented children from rural area.
As per the NVS vision we strive to nurture the learners to have an open and creative mindset for better critical thinking skills; learning how to build strong supportive relationships, understanding their own impulses and developing empathy for others encouraging them to see the world from a global perspective, our learners are taught to become independent through experiences within and beyond the classroom, while technology is embedded in the learning process to enhance creativity.

In order to achieve this we have a whole lot of facilities and activities. Various workshops: opportunities to attend various programmes and to encourage the learner.Sports and games activities are also taken up on daily basis to improve the quality of the students in sports and games activities.The nutritional needs of the students are also taken care of Health records are maintained of each child and all aspects of growth are monitored.The school is supported by a group of dynamic teachers who are empowered through periodic subject enrichment programmes and orientation programmes.The safety and security of the students are given outmost importance. Housemasters, matrons, caretakers, security services and house keeping assistance is provided to students. The migration system provides students to understand other cultures and languages inculcating in them the true spirit of national integration. I am confident that the Navodayans will make themselves stronger adding a new leaf to the grandeur of the nation.
