The dining hall of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Angul provides nourishing, healthy meals to the students. Vidyalaya mess committee decides the menu in accordance to the budget, keeping in mind the needs and desires of the children. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are served and the students often play an active part in menu planning. The school is very particular about cultural and religious sentiments. There are one regular employees and eight casual workers working under the supervision of a Catering Assistant to meet the mess requirements

JNV Angul has two Samsung smart lab with facility of 40 laptops and 40 tablets for student with E-learning content.

The Library has unique collection of 7242 books covering all areas such as Management, Psychology, Biographies of eminent personalities, Languages, Literature, Education, School Administration, Teaching and learning process & Evaluation etc. In spite of English & Hindi, the books in regional languages are also available. The objective of our library is to provide selected reading materials to fulfill needs of our students . Presently library using E- Granthalaya software, developed by NIC, India. Technical processing of books - data entry, classification, cataloguing has been done with this software.

E-classrooms facilitate digital learning where students can access course materials, presentations, and assessments through computers or tablets. It includes interactive whiteboards or panels that allow teachers to write, draw, and annotate content directly on the screen.

Students perform experiments to verify theoretical concepts and apply scientific skills to real-world situations.

It has all the necessary equipments for preparation of samples and standards for various analyses of liquid and solid samples.

Students can learn about the structure and function of living organisms through experiments and activities.

Playground is a vital area designed to support physical education, recreational activities, and overall student well-being.It provides a space for students to engage in physical activities, sports, and games, contributing to their physical health, teamwork skills, and social development.

Vidyalaya has separate hostels for boys and girls. These houses are divided in two groups, Senior and Junior Houses. When a child admitted in the Vidyalaya and joins a House, he/she continue in the same House (names as Arawali, Shivalik, Neelgiri and Udaygiri) till he/she passed out from Vidyalaya as per the guidelines of NVS. There are 04 boys dormitories with the capacity of 306 and 03 girls dormitories with the capacity of 235 girls is being used as. All dormitories are well equipped and furnished with basic facility of bathrooms, toilets. Every types of facilities e.g.. house library, house wise CCA , Games are provided to the students.

Vidyalaya is having well equipped computer lab with a high-speed connection and Wi-Fi facility. The lab has 37 computers, 41 laptops, 87 Acer Tablets and 41 Chrome books. The lab is used for ICT based teaching-learning process.
